Job summary

PowerPlan, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD reliability and Azure IaC end to end.

You will partner with the innovation lab to push experiments into production, shaping the CI/CD vision and driving roadmap items across the DevOps org, not just day-to-day delivery. This hybrid role emphasizes transforming manual processes into standardized, reusable systems, with a focus on cost-aware cloud optimization and secure identity management (SAML/OIDC, AD/Entra ID).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CloudOps/DevOps experience in PaaS/SaaS environments.
• Hands-on Terraform, Azure infrastructure-as-code, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Strong in CI/CD pipeline design and application of automated testing and rollback.

Responsibilities

• Assess current CI/CD and cloud deployment pipelines and convert at least one fragile pipeline into a standardized, automated one with testing and rollback.
• Build and document Terraform modules across core Azure services to make infrastructure-as-code the default.
• Develop log aggregation and metrics visualization; chart a roadmap for key observability metrics and bake observability into new projects.
