Job summary

Expression Networks in Washington, DC seeks a mid-level DevOps Engineer to support the NTIA FSDS program. You will implement secure Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments across Azure Government environments.

You will work with senior engineers, developers, and security staff to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments, secure configurations, and compliant operations in a federal setting.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or 3+ years of relevant DevOps/cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience creating/modifying Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for builds and deployments.
• Experience deploying across development, test, and production environments.
• IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or equivalent.
• Experience building/running containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automation scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Git-based version control with PRs and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Create and manage IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Build and deploy Docker images; manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm.
• Apply security controls and STIGs in a federal environment.
• Support RMF/ATO processes and continuous monitoring activities.
• Configure monitoring and centralized logging; assist in incident response.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams on deployments in restricted environments.
