Job summary

Expression is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage Azure cloud operations in support of the NTIA FSDS program. You will handle Secret and Unclassified spectrum systems, focusing on security, availability, performance, and recoverability across Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret clouds.

Your role requires hands-on patching, log analytics, SIEM, and STIG compliance, plus collaboration in an Agile/Scrum environment to sustain production services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 10+ years of systems administration experience.
• Azure Expert-level certification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret cloud environments.
• Experience with the Azure Data Transfer Cross-Domain tool.
• Experience with SIPR networks and classified systems operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of Azure environments supporting NTIA Secret and Unclassified spectrum systems.
• Patch, backup validation, troubleshooting, licensing, scripting, and routine system administration.
• Implement STIGs and remediate security findings.
• Monitor Azure dashboards for health issues and performance.
• Configure and maintain Log Analytics Workspaces for centralized logging and reporting.
• Support security initiatives across Azure environments.
• Assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation and POA&M remediation.
• Utilize SIEM to monitor events for threat detection and incident response.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues across cloud networks.
• Maintain authentication/authorization infrastructures including Entra ID and Conditional Access.
• Maintain backups and recoverability for mission-critical systems.
• Support data management and movement across security domains.
