Job summary

Expression is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with Azure Cloud Operations expertise to support NTIA FSDS programs within the Department of Commerce. The role focuses on maintaining secure, available, and performant Azure-based spectrum IT systems across Secret and Unclassified environments.

The candidate will work hybrid at the Hoover Building in Washington, DC, and collaborate across Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret clouds while ensuring compliance with STIGs, ATO/POA&M

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of systems administration experience.
• Azure Expert-level certification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Azure Commercial, Government, and Secret environments.
• Experience with Azure Data Transfer Cross-Domain tool.
• Experience with SIPR networks and classified systems operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of Azure environments for NTIA Spectrum systems.
• Patch, backup validation, testing, and account troubleshooting.
• Implement STIGs and remediate security findings.
• Monitor Azure dashboards for outages and performance issues.
• Configure Log Analytics Workspaces for centralized logging and reporting.
• Support security initiatives across Azure environments and ATO/POA&M processes.
• Assist with vulnerability management and incident response.
• Maintain documentation and participate in Agile/Scrum workflows.
