Job summary

SHI is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design and deliver enterprise-scale data pipelines on Microsoft Azure, Fabric, and related services. You will own data ingestion, lakehouse/warehouse design, and data models to support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

You will work hands-on in a primarily remote role, collaborating with client stakeholders, project managers, and engineers to ensure secure, scalable data platforms in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering with Azure data services and Fabric.
• Experience designing scalable data platforms for analytics and AI.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure data services.
• Develop data models, ETL/ELT processes, and historical data versioning for multi-source datasets.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams to prepare data for reporting and AI workloads.
• Implement monitoring, quality controls, and security best practices for data platforms.
