Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale data pipelines on Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

You'll work with Solution Engineers, Principal Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to implement secure, scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and AI driven use cases. This role is hands on and delivery focused.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience delivering modern data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong foundation in data pipelines, lakehouse or warehouse architectures, and relational data platforms.
• Experience designing and operating production data platforms with monitoring and operational support.
• Solid understanding of data security, governance, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric.
• Build and optimize data lakehouse/warehouse solutions for scalability, security, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop data models, ETL/ELT processes, and historical data versioning for multi-source datasets.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams to prepare data for reporting, analytics, and AI consumption.
• Apply security best practices including encryption and identity-based access control.
