Job summary

Orion180 seeks a Data and Analytics Architect to design and govern scalable data platforms on Microsoft cloud. You will bridge core insurance systems with analytical consumers, implementing data lakehouse architectures, governance, and cloud migrations.

Expert Azure data services and data modeling are required to deliver production-ready data assets for real-time analytics and client-facing products. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business leaders to transform raw data

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise data architecture leading data platform initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL systems (Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB).
• Experience real-time architecture with Azure Event Hubs and Stream Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable data architectures using Bronze/Silver/Gold and Delta Lake patterns.
• Lead data modeling across relational, dimensional (Kimball/Star), and Data Vault methods.
• Develop data processing with PySpark, Spark SQL, Python on Azure Databricks; enable real-time analytics.
