You will collaborate with IT stakeholders, actuaries, and data scientists to design data warehouses, model complex data structures, optimize performance, and ensure security and regulatory compliance. This role includes mentoring junior engineers and driving modern data architectures across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data warehouse and enterprise data applications.
• Experience with Azure cloud data management and data modeling.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases; strong SQL development.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT frameworks (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
• Industry knowledge in healthcare insurance or finance helpful.
• Automation skills with Unix, PowerShell, or SQL for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure data systems and warehouses integrating multiple sources.
• Develop canonical data models defining structures and relationships.
• Optimize performance through indexing and partitioning; integrate new elements.
• Collaborate with IT, actuaries, and data scientists for robust solutions.
• Research and propose modern data frameworks including data lakes and cloud analytics.
• Maintain technical docs for analysis, systems, and user needs.
• Mentor and coach data developers and integration engineers.
