Job summary

Leidos in Suitland, MD is seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Azure architecture supporting Zero Trust tools, identity services, and security monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities include engineering Azure resources, designing hybrid-cloud integrations, documenting architectures, and enforcing automation, monitoring, and security baselines. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and 7+ years Azure experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, MIS or related with 8+ years experience, or Master’s with 6+ years
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• 7+ years Azure engineering experience including automation and cloud-native architectures
• 5+ years Cloud platform management (AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, ARM/Bicep and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting RMF and cloud security compliance

Responsibilities

• Engineer Azure resource groups, subscriptions, networking, VMs, identity integrations, and cloud baselines
• Design hybrid-cloud integration for on-premises and cloud-based Zero Trust platforms
• Provide cloud architecture documentation, diagrams, integration schemas, and operations support
• Implement automation, monitoring, security baselines, and cloud compliance standards
