Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a SysOps Engineer to ensure high availability and performance of customer environments. You will provision, monitor, and upgrade systems while prioritizing uptime and security across multiple locations and time zones. The role requires weekend coverage Friday–Monday 7am-6pm ET.

Responsibilities include incident response, automation, and collaboration with global teams to optimize costs and reliability. A strong cloud and scripting background is essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years cloud operations and infrastructure engineering experience.
• AZ-104 Azure Administrator certification or equivalent competency.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Automation via PowerShell, REST APIs, Terraform, or ARM Templates.
• Exposure to orchestration tools like Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible, Kubernetes, or Azure Pipelines.
• Identity management using Azure Entra ID, Okta, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Familiarity with HA architectures, load balancing, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer environment implementation and software configuration within 24 hours lead time.
• Drive operational outcomes aligned to SLA, cost, and automation targets.
• Perform environment updates, migrations, and software upgrades.
• Monitor environments with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to detect availability issues.
• Own day-to-day service reliability against defined SLOs and respond to alerts.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation and perform root cause analysis after incidents.
