Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, and secure for customers worldwide. Collaborate with product and engineering to design, deploy, and monitor services, and mentor teammates in reliability best practices.

Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment applying observability tools, IaC, and automation to improve incident response, performance, and on-call readiness while supporting security and compliance considerations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or technology-related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 6+ years of cloud infrastructure and software development experience.
• 2+ years hands on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar platforms.
• Advanced understanding of APM and observability tools (Dynatrace, AppInsights, DataDog, Grafana, New Relic).
• 6+ years with IaC concepts and tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, ARM).
• Deep knowledge of Configuration Management tools (Ansible, PowerShell DSC, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with Agile using Jira or Azure DevOps Boards.
• Hands on with Git/Azure DevOps/GitHub and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, GKS, EKS).

Responsibilities

• Implement observability solutions to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
• Participate in On-Call rotations and post-mortem reviews.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to deploy and maintain reliable systems.
• Influence designs and standards for large-scale systems.
• Automate processes to improve reliability, performance, and availability.
• Update documentation and knowledge bases.
• Provide feedback in pull requests and code reviews.
• Build integrations between Dynatrace, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
• Mentor others in technical areas.
• Support SOC/FedRAMP compliance with security teams.
