Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a SysOps Engineer to focus on the operations and high availability of customer environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and disaster recovery. You will be a technical escalation point for support requests, prioritizing uptime and security across locations and time zones.

The role requires weekend work (Fri–Mon, 7am–6pm ET) to cover our global customer base. Strong collaboration and a passion for technology and continual improvement are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years cloud operations and infrastructure engineering experience.
• AZ-104 Azure Administrator or equivalent Azure administration competency.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience automating with PowerShell, REST APIs, Terraform, or ARM Templates.
• Exposure to orchestration tools like Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible, Kubernetes, or Azure Pipelines.
• Identity management experience with Azure Entra ID, Okta, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Familiarity with high-availability architectures and load-balancing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver environment implementation and software configuration within 24 hours lead time.
• Drive operational outcomes aligned to SLA, cost, and automation targets.
• Perform environment updates, migrations, and software upgrades.
• Monitor environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; proactively detect issues.
• Own day-to-day service reliability against defined SLOs and respond to alerts.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation and perform root cause analysis after incidents.
• Communicate clearly during incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities in Azure and contribute to FinOps.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support.
