Job summary
ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Cloud Support Engineer in Reston, VA to join a 24x7 Microsoft Azure incident management team. You will diagnose, mitigate and escalate system issues to maintain high availability across cloud and on-prem components.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting with diagnostic tools, patching cloud servers, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or other technical discipline is preferred.
- 2 years operations experience providing application infrastructure support.
- 1 year performing system administration support (Windows/Linux).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot system issues in Azure environment using diagnostic tools.
- Respond to incident tickets in a 24x7 environment to meet SLA objectives.
- Perform patching and system updates on cloud servers.
- Coordinate resolution of on-prem systems.
- Document incident fixes and recommend improvements to engineering.
