Job summary

International Justice Mission seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist, Cloud Platform to own the Azure environment's health, security, and performance. The role focuses on operating IJM's cloud platform, coordinating with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams, and driving automation and standardization.

The position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located near Washington, DC, or remote for eligible candidates, reporting to the Solutions Architect, IT Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering roles.
• 3+ years Microsoft Azure in production.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience.
• Azure certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health, availability, and performance of Azure environments across subscriptions and workloads.
• Monitor and optimize cost using Azure-native tools and reporting.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep or equivalents and maintain standardized deployments.
• Collaborate with security/compliance to meet regulatory requirements and governance.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident remediation.
• Document runbooks, platform standards, and performance metrics.
