Job summary

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Services Engineer to join the Information Technology department. You will manage a hybrid cloud environment, focusing on Azure, M365, AD, Intune, and security while collaborating with MSPs to ensure reliable, scalable technology services.

The role emphasizes ownership of core platforms, IaC automation, and infrastructure governance to support the firm’s modern technology landscape.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
Hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange, and Active Directory environments.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates and experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and support the firm's Microsoft ecosystem, including AD, M365, Azure, Intune, Exchange, user provisioning, licensing, and tenant management.
Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Azure environments, including VMs, networking, storage, and related resources.
Maintain and support hybrid infrastructure environments, including on-premises servers and directory services.
Develop and implement IaC solutions using Terraform and ARM templates to automate deployments.
Monitor infrastructure performance and availability using Azure Monitor and related tools.
Provide hands-on administration of network infrastructure and VPN/SD-WAN technologies.
Partner with security teams to strengthen infrastructure security and remediate vulnerabilities.
Create architecture documentation and disaster recovery plans.
