Job summary

Vari is building a modern Azure-based cloud platform to host its internal apps and AI agents. You will own the cloud foundations, from compute and networking to data services and security, while delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure for a growing portfolio of applications.

We value AI-native thinking, curiosity about the direction of technology, and the ability to implement robust deployment pipelines and observability across the platform to enable rapid, safe shipping of software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps with hands-on Azure.
• Experience building and operating hosting on Azure (serverless and containerized).
• Ability to implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Bicep/Terraform).
• Strong security mindset: least privilege, secrets hygiene, audit trails.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud platform for internal apps and agents on Azure; design, build, and operate compute, networking, data services, and production deployment.
• Establish deployment pipelines, environments, release patterns, and observability for scalable delivery.
• Plan capacity, performance, and resilience to support growing services and applications.
• Provide guardrails for automation, per-app identities, secrets management, and controlled changes to production.
• Advise on IaC adoption (Bicep or Terraform) and maintain reproducible configurations.
• Work with AI-native tooling to improve platform capabilities and reduce toil.
