Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Manager with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code to lead our Cloud Team. This hands-on role guides design and delivery of secure, scalable Azure platforms while mentoring engineers, setting direction, and advancing practices across IaC, Terraform, and GitHub CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years building and operating Microsoft Azure solutions using IaC and Terraform.
• Ability to lead technically and guide others through complex infrastructure and cloud engineering challenges.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, and architecture patterns.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Cloud Team and set goals.
• Define Azure platform standards and roadmaps with cross teams.
• Define and evolve cloud operating model for DevOps and platform ownership.
• Design and implement Azure solutions using Terraform and IaC with secure, cost-aware focus.
• Research new cloud technologies to improve cost, scalability, and value.
• Apply FinOps to optimize cloud costs and transparency.
• Provide senior Azure infrastructure support including on-call and RC analysis.
