Veriipro in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Azure DevOps Lead / Operations Engineer to manage and optimize cloud environments across development, staging, and production. You will support code releases, upgrades, and Terraform-based IaC while driving reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Azure and AWS experience, strong CI/CD design skills with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and ITIL-aligned incident management. This role requires collaboration across teams and MSP partners.

Qualifications

5+ years in engineering, operations or software development.
Strong hands-on experience managing Azure environments.
Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
Strong Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitHub Actions or GitLab.
CI/CD design, deployment and troubleshooting experience.
Linux and Windows administration knowledge.
Docker container experience and database knowledge (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with configuration-management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt).
Strong production troubleshooting, incident management and monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and support Azure cloud environments across development, staging, and production.
Execute and troubleshoot code releases, deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Build, maintain, and control stage and production environments.
Design, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Troubleshoot critical incidents and application/platform issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
Monitor application and infrastructure health and ensure monitoring/alerting/observability are in place.
Review system health, performance, capacity and availability and implement improvements.
Collaborate with developers, SMEs, stakeholders, vendors and MSPs to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain SOPs, operational documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
Maintain current knowledge of application architecture, cloud platforms and supporting technologies.
Define and maintain administrative and operational processes for services.
