Job summary

Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of Azure-based infrastructure. The role emphasizes a secure, scalable, cost-conscious Azure environment within an Azure-first strategy.

The candidate will implement IaC pipelines, collaborate with cybersecurity on Zero Trust, and manage cloud services, ensuring resilience with disaster recovery planning and modern cloud networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or engineering with focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient with core Azure services: compute, networking, storage, identity, governance, monitoring.
• Experience with IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Strong understanding of cloud security and identity management, especially Zero Trust.
• Hands-on with cloud automation, monitoring, and operational support tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support end-to-end Azure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security components.
• Implement and support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using ARM/Bicep, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to support Zero Trust initiatives using Entra ID, Defender, and Conditional Access.
• Advise on cost optimization using Azure Cost Management, Reserved Instances, and serverless architectures.
• Implement and support Azure Managed Services (App Services, SQL DB, Functions, Logic Apps).
• Support disaster recovery and BCP with Azure Site Recovery and Backup.
