Job summary

Northwest Federal Credit Union is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering Team within IT Systems Infrastructure. The role delivers cloud, on-prem, and hybrid solutions, emphasizing availability, security, and continuous service improvement.

You will design and migrate to Azure, manage hybrid identities, and provide operational metrics while collaborating across IT and business units to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS or related field.
• 5+ years in systems infrastructure planning and IT service management.
• 3+ years designing and supporting Azure cloud solutions, with hybrid connectivity.
• VMware expertise and Windows server administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to ensure cloud infrastructure availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Plan, design, and implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions in Azure.
• Develop implementation plans, timelines, and risk assessments for projects.
• Evaluate cloud options with business units and procurement teams.
• Manage hybrid directory identities in Azure and on-premises.
• Produce dashboards and reports to monitor cloud performance.
• Adhere to BSA, ITSM processes, and change management guidelines.
