Job summary

Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc. seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate Azure-based infrastructure and security controls.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Azure environments, driven by an Azure-first strategy across Zero Trust, IaC, and managed services. The engineer will implement end-to-end Azure solutions, collaborate with cybersecurity teams, optimize cloud costs, and support disaster recovery for a large enterprise with hybrid work

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or engineering roles with significant Azure focus.
• Proficiency with core Azure services: compute, networking, storage, identity, governance, and monitoring.
• Experience with IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI).

Responsibilities

• Implement and support end-to-end Azure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security components.
• Implement and support IaC using ARM/Bicep, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to support Zero Trust initiatives using Entra ID, Defender, and Conditional Access.
• Advise on cost optimization using Azure Cost Management, Reserved Instances, and serverless architectures.
• Implement and support Azure Managed Services (App Services, SQL DB, Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
• Support disaster recovery and BCP with Azure Site Recovery and Backup solutions.
• Partner with network/security teams to implement a Cloud First Network Infrastructure (Virtual WAN, SD-WAN, Azure Firewall).
• Support headless solutions, serverless compute (Azure Functions, Logic Apps), and managed databases (SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Other related duties as assigned.
