Brown Rudnick LLP seeks an experienced Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize a secure, hybrid Azure environment supporting critical legal apps and data.

You will lead hybrid integrations, manage identity controls, and implement cloud security aligned with client requirements, audits, and industry standards. This onsite role spans strong collaboration across IT, security, and legal platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in large-scale infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Professional Azure certifications preferred.
• Strong experience with Azure architecture (compute, networking, identity, governance).
• Experience integrating on-premises systems with Azure in hybrid clouds.
• Knowledge of Citrix to AVD and VMware to Azure migrations preferred.
• Cloud security best practices in regulated or professional services environments.
• Experience with monitoring, performance optimization, and Azure cost management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with legal tech cloud services is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain the firm’s Azure cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Manage hybrid cloud environments by integrating Azure with on-prem systems and legal apps.
• Administer Azure Entra ID and RBAC for secure access.
• Implement cloud security controls aligned with industry standards and firm policies.
• Deploy and support Azure VMs, networking, storage, backup, and DR solutions.
• Automate deployments using IaC tools and scripting (ARM, Bicep, Terraform; PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash).
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost using Azure tools.
• Support cloud-hosted legal platforms ensuring high availability of document management and finance apps.
• Collaborate with Security, IT Desk, and other departments for stable operations.
• Participate in DR planning, testing, and business continuity efforts.
• Assist with vendor coordination and cloud governance; respond to security audits.
