Job summary

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Services Engineer to maintain and modernize a hybrid technology environment. You will own core platforms like Azure, Microsoft 365, AD, Intune, and Exchange while partnering with security teams and MSPs to ensure secure, scalable services.

You will design cloud architectures, implement IaC (Terraform, ARM templates), and drive automation, governance, and cost optimization across Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, information systems, CS or related field.
• 5+ years in systems administration, cloud or infra engineering with Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform or ARM templates and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash) and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with hybrid/on‑prem and cloud environments; familiarity with MSP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft ecosystem including AD, M365, Azure, Intune, Exchange.
• Design, deploy and manage secure, scalable Azure environments and hybrid infra.
• Develop IaC solutions (Terraform, ARM templates) and automate deployments.
• Monitor performance with Azure Monitor and other observability tools.
• Collaborate with security teams and managed service providers for reliability and security.
• Lead backup, DR, and business continuity planning; manage governance and cost controls.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and document architectures and procedures.
