Job summary

FGS, LLC seeks an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Azure architecture for DoD-level government systems in Suitland, MD. You will work on secure Azure and hybrid-cloud capabilities, Zero Trust, identity services, and monitoring platforms.

Hybrid collaboration with cloud architects, security personnel, and government stakeholders is essential. Strong hands-on Azure experience in classified DoD environments is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related STEM.
• 5+ years cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring (Azure/W AWS).
• Experience designing, developing, deploying and maintaining cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and maintain Azure subscriptions, resource groups, VNets, VMs, storage, and identities.
• Design and support hybrid-cloud integrations with Zero Trust and security platforms.
• Automate cloud provisioning and deployment using PowerShell, Python, Bash, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD.
• Implement cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and RMF/compliance baselines.
• Troubleshoot Azure, hybrid-cloud, identity, and network issues across teams.
• Create and maintain cloud architecture docs and procedures.
• Collaborate with Government and contractor stakeholders on requirements and deployment.
