Job summary

KBR in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the National Security Solutions team. This role blends cloud technologies with Infrastructure as Code, primarily using Azure, Terraform and Bicep, to support U.S. government customers.

You will deploy and manage cloud resources, troubleshoot deployments, collaborate with DevOps and software engineers, and ensure secure, scalable architectures in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of cloud engineering experience with Azure/AWS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform).
• Experience with GNU/Linux, command line tools, and Git repositories.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud resources in multiple environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code repositories to easily recreate and redeploy resources.
• Troubleshoot deployments, Azure Entra ID, and integrations between Azure resources.
• Troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service and Virtual Machines with deployed apps.
• Design and maintain networks protected by Azure Firewall Policies and Application Gateway.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Software, and Systems Engineers.
