Job summary

VSolvit, LLC is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to provide SME leadership for DoD-aligned cloud projects. You will validate architectures, guide MLZ deployments with IaC, and lead CNSS evolution, ensuring secure, automated, resilient environments.

The role requires DoD-focused experience, Azure Bicep/ARM, CI/CD pipelines, and a Top Secret-ready mindset. You will collaborate with engineers, program managers, and security teams to implement zero trust and compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS or a related technical field.
• Experience with Azure administration and cloud architecture; 2-4 years in cloud engineering.
• Hands-on IaC experience using Bicep or ARM templates; CI/CD toolchains demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Validate architectural designs and provide engineering direction for Azure MLZ deployments.
• Lead the engineering, deployment, and customization of Azure Mission Landing Zones (MLZ) with IaC workflows.
• Deliver design recommendations across data storage, identity management, governance, and monitoring.
• Guide MO cloud transition strategies; collaborate with Program Managers to oversee architectures.
• Advise on F5 configuration and assess cloud-ready security stack migrations.
