Job summary

JCS Solutions seeks a Senior Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to lead Azure cloud modernization for DoD environments in Albuquerque. You will design, implement, and sustain secure Azure solutions, including hybrid identities and Zero Trust alignment, with a hands-on engineering role across the lifecycle.

Active Top Secret clearance, DoD RMF/ STIG compliance, and Azure Architect certification are required, along with extensive DoD cloud experience. Compensation reflects market range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive DoD/DoD cyber experience or higher degree may substitute for experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Minimum 5 years designing and implementing Azure enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience designing hybrid Azure environments with on-premises integration.
• Advanced experience with Entra ID/Entra Connect/AD and E-ICAM.
• Experience with Entra ID Governance (Access Reviews, Entitlement Management, Lifecycle Workflows, CA, PIM).
• IaC experience with Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates.
• Azure networking, security, and monitoring expertise; strong scripting skills.
• Zero Trust architecture and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions.
• Design green-field Azure environments and hybrid architectures with on-premises integration.
• Implement enterprise hybrid identity solutions using Entra and AD.
• Develop zero trust and PAM solutions with JIT access and ABAC/RBAC controls.
• Create Azure Landing Zones and governance models per CAF and Well-Architected Framework.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Design secure networking using VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN, Azure Firewall, and private links.
• Implement monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, governance, and security capabilities.
• Configure Entra ID governance features and perform access reviews.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, networks, and applications teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Support Authority to Operate (ATO) and RMF/ STIG compliance.
