Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced API Infrastructure Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team. You will design, build, automate, and operate secure enterprise-scale Azure API management platforms and modernize cloud delivery through DevOps, reusable IaC modules, automation, and strong operational discipline.

The role emphasizes API design, security and governance, automation, and integration with Azure services as part of a global, distributed engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years API engineering / cloud development experience.
• Azure certifications are preferred.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, secure, deploy, and manage enterprise APIs on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement API governance, versioning and lifecycle management.
• Automate deployment and policy management using IaC and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with security, architecture and DevOps teams.
