Qualifications

8-10 years of software development experience.
Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
Experience modernizing legacy apps and migrating to the cloud.
Experience with AWS services for enterprise data lakes.
Experience with RDMS databases.
DevOps practices and automation tools.
Experience with ETL tools and data analytics (Power BI or AWS QuickSight).
Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and modernization strategies.
Design, develop and test Java-based, cloud-native applications and backend systems.
Utilize AWS services within application architecture.
Develop, test, debug and deliver within timeline using best tools and best practices available.
Participate in code reviews, ensure security best practices, and maintain clean, efficient code.
Monitor application performance and optimize for cost, security, and reliability.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges.
Ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Work with product manager, business stakeholders, and other team members to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
