Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize mission-critical cloud infrastructure for DoD customers. You will implement IaC, maintain STIG-hardened environments, and collaborate with security and operations teams.

Travel up to 10% is expected. Requirements include US citizenship, DoD Secret clearance, Security+ CE, DoD 8140 qualification within 6 months, and a Bachelor's in CS/IT.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret level clearance required.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM).
• Hands-on with IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Security compliance with STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Maintain STIG-hardened environments and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Manage patching, baselines, and monitoring to meet DoD cyber requirements.
• Collaborate with security and operations teams on governance and logging.
• Develop Python/Bash automation for build, deploy, monitoring, and security hardening.
• Support disaster recovery planning and backup testing.
