Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Manager to lead a diverse team responsible for designing, building, and operating data center networks and capacity.

You will drive operational excellence, partner with engineering and supply chain, and oversee safety and compliance across sites. The role requires coordinating with multiple stakeholders, delivering scalable infrastructure, and traveling to active data center locations as needed to ensure on-time deployment

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data center technology role.
• 2+ years in a management or team lead function.
• 2+ years of TCP/IP networking, network cabling, fiber, optic types, and test equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians and engineers to install, build, and optimize server rack capacity.
• Deliver capacity to existing data centers and bring online new ones.
• Improve processes and procedures to reduce cost and increase safety.
• Manage external vendors and contractors, and liaise with internal teams to align objectives.
• Create and maintain data center metrics to drive positive changes.
• Support incident, problem, change, and capacity management methodologies.
