Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience designing or architecting systems for reliability and scalability.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).
• Experience with Linux/Unix and at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, secure, implement, code, automate, deploy, and root-cause complex system issues across Linux bare metal servers.
• Own the availability, security, and performance of the OS downward, including hardware, firmware, and components.
• Automate and scale the hardware lifecycle processes for efficiency and fault tolerance.
• Ensure servers are provisioned, patched, upgraded, and in service at all times.
