Webull Financial is a cloud-native fintech leader seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure AWS production environments remain highly available, secure, and scalable for 24/7 trading. You will collaborate with Development, Security, and Network teams to optimize AWS production, strengthen monitoring, and automate operational tasks while participating in on-call rotations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 4+ years in cloud ops or SRE.
• 3+ years running production workloads on AWS.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AWS production environments across multiple regions with 99.99% availability.
• Build and tune monitoring, logging, and alerting; define SLIs/SLOs and reduce alert noise.
• Lead on-call/incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Provision infra via Terraform/CloudFormation and GitOps to standardize builds.
• Manage IAM, KMS, Secrets, and compliance with audits (SOC 2, FINRA/SEC).
• Design backup and cross-region DR runbooks and test regularly.
• Track cloud spend with Cost Explorer and optimize resources.
• Write automation tooling in Python/Shell/Go; develop runbooks.
