Job summary

Webull is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to sustain the reliability and performance of our global trading platform. You will collaborate with Development, Security, and Network teams to optimize AWS production environments and automate complex operational tasks.

The role demands strong AWS, Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and scripting skills, as well as on-call readiness to troubleshoot incidents, implement DR runbooks, monitor costs, and strengthen security across multi-region

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud operations, SRE, or DevOps.
• 3+ years running production workloads on AWS.
• Experience with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ELB, Route 53, RDS, CloudWatch, EKS.
• Strong Linux administration and networking basics.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Terraform or CloudFormation; CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting; Go is a plus.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, and Kafka in production environments.
• Experience in broker-dealer or electronic trading, or other regulated financial environments.
• Willingness to join on-call rotation and support global trading sessions outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AWS production environments across regions.
• Build and tune monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Lead L2/L3 incident troubleshooting and post-incident analysis.
• Provision infrastructure via Terraform/CloudFormation and GitOps.
• Manage EKS/Kubernetes clusters, autoscaling, and deployments with Helm/ArgoCD.
• Manage IAM, Security Groups, KMS; support audits and remediation.
• Maintain VPC design, subnets, and VPN connectivity.
• Track cloud spend and rightsizing resources.
• Write tooling in Python/Shell/Go and automate tasks.
