Job summary

Accenture Security is seeking an AWS-focused security leader to design, implement, and operate cloud security programs for clients. You will define roadmaps, build secure landing zones, and enforce identity, access, and network controls across multi-account environments.

You will translate complex security risks into actionable business recommendations for senior stakeholders, coordinating with cross-functional teams and driving security outcomes in a dynamic consulting landscape.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating security controls in AWS environments.
• Experience with IAM, including roles, policies, federation, least privilege, and multi-account governance.
• Experience with AWS network security, including VPC, security groups, network ACLs, WAF, and network firewall.
• Experience with AWS security monitoring and threat detection services such as CloudTrail, Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Detective, and CloudWatch.
• Experience securing AWS data and workloads through encryption, key management, and secrets management; vulnerability management and secure configurations.
• Experience mapping AWS architectures to cloud security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
• Experience leading cloud security projects and teams; producing technical docs and executive recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AWS security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations engagements for clients.
• Assess AWS environments and develop security roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Design secure AWS landing zones and multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Define and implement IAM controls, including least privilege and service control policies.
• Design AWS network security architectures using VPCs, security groups, NACs, and WAF.
• Develop data protection solutions with KMS, CloudHSM, encryption, and secrets management.
• Establish cloud security monitoring using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Detective, Config, and CloudWatch.
• Lead cloud security posture management, vulnerability management, and remediation across workloads.
• Translate security risks into business recommendations for executives.
• Map security controls to regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Lead client workshops, security assessments, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.
• Drive proposals and client relationships for AWS Security opportunities.
• Coach junior practitioners and contribute reusable security assets and methodologies.
