Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AWS Security professional to design and run security solutions for clients. You will lead engagements across security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations, translating risks into actionable guidance. Collaborate with executives to drive security improvements and mentor junior staff.

You will be delivering scalable AWS defenses, aligning with frameworks and regulatory requirements, while maintaining Accenture’s quality standards and client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating security controls in AWS.
• Experience with AWS IAM including roles, policies, federation, least privilege, and multi-account governance.
• Experience with AWS network security (VPC, security groups, ACLs, WAF, Network Firewall).
• Experience with AWS security monitoring and threat detection services (GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Config, CloudWatch).
• Experience securing data and workloads via encryption, key management, secrets management.
• Experience aligning AWS architectures with security frameworks (NIST, CIS AWS Foundations, ISO 27001, AWS Well-Architected).
• Experience leading cloud security projects using standard PM practices.
• Experience producing technical docs and executive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of AWS security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations engagements.
• Assess AWS environments and develop security roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Design secure AWS landing zones and multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Define and implement IAM controls, including roles, policies, federation, and least-privilege principles.
• Design AWS network security architectures using VPC, security groups, ACLs, and firewall services.
• Develop data protection solutions using KMS, cloud encryption, and secrets management.
• Establish cloud security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response with AWS services.
• Lead cloud security posture management, vulnerability management, and remediation activities.
• Translate security risks into clear business recommendations for executives.
• Interpret controls to regulatory frameworks including NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and AWS Well-Architected.
• Lead client workshops, security assessments, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.
• Drive proposals, solution shaping, and client relationships for AWS Security opportunities.
• Coach junior practitioners and contribute reusable assets and thought leadership.
• Deliver services in line with Accenture quality standards and collaborate across teams.
