Job summary

System One is hiring an AWS Cloud Security Architect to guide security for enterprise applications and AWS cloud environments. The role covers hybrid infrastructure, APIs, containers, and AI-enabled solutions, with a focus on secure migration and implementation.

You will define security patterns, perform threat modeling and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS while communicating risks clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant cybersecurity/cloud security experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity architecture experience in this domain.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud security experience securing enterprise workloads and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, data protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance for AWS cloud environments, hybrid infrastructure, APIs, containers, data solutions, and AI-enabled applications.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Define security patterns, guardrails, reference architectures, and implementation guidance.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS; communicate risks to stakeholders.
