Job summary

System One is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Architect to guide security for enterprise applications, AWS cloud environments, and hybrid infrastructure. You will define security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures while leading threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud-native, API, container, and AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with cybersecurity and cloud security focus.
• 5+ years as a cybersecurity or cloud security architect.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud security, workloads & migrations.
• Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS; secure architectures and controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance for AWS cloud, APIs, containers, and data solutions.
• Partner with engineering to securely migrate workloads to AWS and other clouds.
• Define cloud security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for cloud-native and AI solutions.
• Define controls and remediation paths for security gaps identified.
• Support AI/GenAI security, including LLMs, access controls, and data protection.
