Job summary

Parametric seeks a Cloud Support Engineer to manage AWS-based infrastructure, IAM, backups, monitoring, and incident response in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on frontline operational support for 100+ production AWS applications and critical SaaS platforms.

You will collaborate with Cloud Platform Eng, Development, Security, and SRE teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud operations and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• AWS Cloud Architect Associate certification or equivalent.
• 3+ years' hands-on AWS Support experience.
• 6+ years hands-on experience in Information Technology roles.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Python, and Git/Github.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tooling (Jira).
• Familiarity with cross-cloud monitoring solutions (DataDog preferred).
• Cloud Incident Management experience and ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Experience with backup and recovery tooling (AWS Backup preferred).
• Experience working in Linux/UNIX.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 cloud infrastructure support and incident management for 100+ production AWS apps.
• Administer SaaS platforms (Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, Confluent Cloud) including onboarding and access mgmt.
• Support day-to-day production operations across AWS and SaaS platforms for availability and stability.
• Monitor support queues and respond to incidents and service requests.
• Support IAM across AWS and SaaS platforms.
