Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to support a large-scale AWS environment with 100+ production applications and critical SaaS platforms. The role emphasizes cloud operations, incident management, monitoring, IAM, backup/recovery, and security, with migration support.

The position operates in a hybrid model, requiring 3 days onsite per week, and involves collaborating with Cloud Engineering, Security, Development, and SRE teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on AWS support experience.
• 6+ years of overall IT experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 AWS cloud infrastructure support and incident management.
• Support AWS and SaaS platforms including Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, and Confluent Cloud.
• Manage IAM, monitoring, observability, backup/recovery, and cloud security controls.
• Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Support AWS data center migration, onboarding, and post-migration stabilization.
• Assist with audits, compliance evidence, remediation, and operational documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and collaborate with Cloud Eng., Security, Development, and SRE teams.
