Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Support Engineer to join a team that assists enterprise customers running mission-critical applications on AWS.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with service teams across AWS regions, and own critical infrastructure incidents while delivering world-class customer service from Seattle. Relevant Linux/Windows admin and scripting skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support, or 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience in System Administration and troubleshooting with Linux and/or Windows Server.
• Experience with networking fundamentals or Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and solve challenging operational issues in a complex enterprise environment.
• Support fleets of server instances interacting with multiple services across several AWS regions.
• Work with enterprise customers, partners, and internal teams to tailor solutions.
• Build and maintain automation templates and scripts to deploy resources.
• Create tutorials and technical articles for AWS customer community.
