Job summary

Infor in Atlanta is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance network architectures across hybrid and cloud-native environments. You will work at the intersection of networking and cloud engineering, focusing on AWS networking, VPNs, Direct Connect, and DNS routing.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, and infrastructure as code, with hands-on ownership of network reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS networking, including VPC, subnetting, and basic connectivity.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and network protocols.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN solutions in production environments.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues using tcpdump, traceroute, mtr, or Wireshark.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks, including exposure to Cisco/Fortinet/Palo Alto.
• Demonstrated ability to support customer-facing environments and communicate issues effectively.
• Must be willing to work 3 days per week in the office.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network architectures across AWS and hybrid environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot VPNs, Direct Connect, routing, and firewall configurations.
• Monitor network performance and lead incident response and root cause analysis for outages.
• Architect and operate AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, load balancers, DNS).
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to optimize network performance and security posture.
