Job summary

ATS+Partners in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer I specializing in AWS networking and hybrid cloud connectivity. You will coordinate multi-discipline technologies and advise technology and business leaders on problem resolution and system enhancements.

Responsibilities include 24x7 on-call support, designing cloud networking in AWS/Azure/GCP, implementing network appliances, and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

3–7 years of DevOps experience with AWS networking and hybrid cloud familiarity.
Expert AWS networking including VPCs, subnets, Direct Connect, TGW, and NACLs.
Strong IPv4/IPv6 routing knowledge (BGP, NAT, VRFs) and Palo Alto PAN-OS skills.

Responsibilities

Provide 24x7x365 on-call network support and incident resolution.
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Implement network appliances (Arista PAN-OS) and CSP integrations.
Develop on-prem to cloud connectivity aligned with ISO security standards.
Collaborate with cloud providers to craft scalable solutions.
Create IaC and cloud configs using Terraform; support backups.
Monitor network performance with Zenoss, Splunk, and Wireshark; report findings.
Maintain Change Control to maximize network availability and upgrades.
Document designs in Microsoft Visio; train junior staff; occasional travel.
