Job summary

Rec Gen is seeking a senior infrastructure professional to architect and lead AWS migrations from a remote US location. You will design secure landing zones, manage workload migrations, and align IAM/AD for PCI compliance while optimizing cost and performance.

You should have 5+ years in infrastructure, 3+ years handling AWS migrations, and hands-on Terraform/CloudFormation or Python automation. The role offers full health coverage, a 401k match, and flexible WFH arrangements.

Qualifications

5+ years in infrastructure with cloud experience.
3+ years leading AWS migrations.
Experience with PCI-DSS Level 1 environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS services and security.
Automation using Terraform/CloudFormation or Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

Architect secure, scalable AWS landing zones and lead workload migration strategy.
Migrate Hyper-V VMs to AWS EC2/containers and modernize legacy workflows.
Own CDE segmentation, encryption, and IAM/AD alignment for PCI compliance.
Build secure network tunnels between local sites and AWS.
Design business continuity combining Veeam and cloud-native backups.
Optimize cloud spend and hybrid performance as workloads shift.
