Job summary

Infomedia Americas (SimplePart) in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Senior Systems Architect to own the end-to-end infrastructure vision. You will guide the migration from on-prem to a scalable AWS platform while maintaining reliability across global datacenters and ensuring security and compliance.

You will oversee network design, firewall/IDS operations, and disaster recovery, and mentor a growing team as the modernization program progresses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure architecture.
• Experience planning datacenter-to-cloud migrations for production workloads.
• Proven track record building production AWS environments from scratch.
• Hands-on AWS core services: VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Route 53.
• Strong firewall, IDS/IPS, and security controls experience.
• Ability to mentor and communicate architectural decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own network architecture across colocation sites and cloud.
• Design security posture, containment strategies, and DR plans.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts to AWS.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code practices and standards.
• Mentor junior team members and drive documentation culture.
