Job summary

PURE Insurance seeks a hands-on Cloud Engineer to design, build, automate, and support cloud-native solutions in AWS. You’ll partner with Cloud Architecture, Integrations, Release Engineering, Security, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and repeatable cloud infrastructure.

Proficiency in IaC, serverless and containerized workloads is essential. You will work on Terraform, SAM, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and API integrations, while supporting Java/Spring Boot apps and data

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting AWS-based solutions.
• Experience with Terraform, AWS SAM, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Programming/scripting in Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Experience with REST APIs, middleware, and cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native AWS solutions (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3).
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, AWS SAM, and CloudFormation.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with integrations and app teams on APIs, serverless apps, and container workloads.
• Implement observability and security practices across AWS workloads.
