Job summary

Trusted Shops is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure. You will automate with Terraform, enhance CI/CD with CircleCI, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient cloud services.

Responsibilities include incident response, monitoring, cost optimization, and applying AI-assisted engineering practices to improve automation and delivery speed while ensuring security and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform, and CI/CD tooling (CircleCI).
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python or TypeScript; containerized environments (Docker, ECS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.
• Contribute to deployment and operation of new services and capabilities.
• Build and maintain IaC components with Terraform and optimize CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI).
• Help establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability standards.
• Support cloud governance, AWS lifecycle management, FinOps, and security practices.
• Apply AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices to improve automation and delivery speed.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations with internal teams and external hosting partners.
