Overview

Transaction Network Services (TNS), a Koch Industries company, is seeking a talented and motivated AWS Cloud Architect. We are adopting cloud services at an increasing rate, primarily AWS. This role involves establishing strategy and architecture for these technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute cloud computing strategies by architecting cloud infrastructure assets to meet TNS’s business goals
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on industry best practices for cloud technologies

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in a Software Development Engineering environment
• 5+ years of practical experience with AWS architecture, design, and support of cloud infrastructure and applications
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
• Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible), and scripting (Python, Java, Bash)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global organizations, telecom industry, or big data technologies
• Knowledge of ML, data analysis, visualization, and other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• AWS cloud architecture certification required

Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 annually, with variable pay options. TNS offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, paid holidays, and a 401K plan.
