Overview

Transaction Network Services (TNS), a Koch Industries company, is seeking a talented and motivated AWS Cloud Architect. This role involves establishing strategy and architecture for cloud services, primarily AWS, as the company adopts cloud technologies at an increasing rate.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute cloud computing strategies by architecting cloud infrastructure assets to meet TNS’s business goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on industry best practices for cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years experience in a Software Development Engineering environment.
• 5+ years practical experience with AWS architecture, design, and support of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible), and scripting (Python, Java, Bash).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global organizations or in the telecom industry.
• Knowledge of ML, data analysis, Big Data technologies, and familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Certifications such as AWS Cloud Architect are required; additional cloud certifications are a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• AWS cloud architecture certification is required.

Additional Information

Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 annually, with variable pay options. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, paid holidays, vacations, and a 401K plan with company match.
