Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Sales Executive to build the AWS cloud business with the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, involving engagement with defense customers and partners to drive cloud adoption and transformation.

You will develop a Navy/DoD pipeline, manage relationships at senior levels, travel as needed, and shape winning value propositions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years selling to the USMC/Navy or DoD-related federal sales experience.
• 4+ years experience with Federal Systems Integrators and Business Partners supporting USMC/DoD.
• 4+ years experience with the fundamentals of cloud computing with ability to differentiate between Cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growing book of business in the Navy and/or Marine Corps as part of a Navy sales team.
• Drive business and technical relationships and close business rapidly by defining, identifying, and pursuing opportunities.
• Establish deep business and technical relationships through understanding the customer's mission and environment.
• Interact day-to-day with customers at senior military and civilian levels.
• Interact with staff officers, contracting officials, software developers, and architects.
• Think strategically about mission, product, and technical challenges and convey compelling value propositions.
